Invitation of Proposals for Grants to ATIs and SICs for Propagation of Right to Information Act 2025-26

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has invited proposals from State Information Commissions (SICs) and Administrative Training Institutes (ATIs) for financial grants under the Annual Programme for the Propagation of the Right to Information Act for the year 2025-26. The grants are intended to support awareness generation activities, workshops, seminars, and capacity-building training for SPIOs, CPIOs, and Appellate Authorities. Applicants must submit their proposals in the prescribed proforma to the IR-I Section of DoPT within 15 days of the notification. Release of funds is contingent upon the submission of Utilization Certificates for previous grants. ATIs are also requested to share their training schedules to facilitate potential visits by DoPT officials.
