The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Ms. Sunita Singh, IFS(MH:87), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), Delhi. The appointment is on a deputation basis for an initial tenure of three years, extendable under specific conditions. The officer is required to assume charge of the post effective from the date of joining. The Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change has been requested to relieve the officer immediately to facilitate this assignment.
