The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued a corrigendum regarding its recommendations for a Digital Radio Broadcast Policy for private broadcasters. The revision specifically addresses the calculation of the migration amount for existing broadcasters in cities where no bids are received for new frequencies. Previously, the policy suggested using an average of ADPs from similar cities. The Authority has now revised this to use the Reserve Price (RP) of the city as the basis for the migration amount to avoid potential valuation aberrations.
