The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Rajesh Ranjan, IPS (BH:84) as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Delhi. The appointment is under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. The officer is granted an initial tenure of three years, which is extendable by two years with the prior approval of the Central Vigilance Commission.
