Clarification on Pay and Allowances for Chief Vigilance Officers in CPSEs and Other Organizations

This Office Memorandum clarifies the pay and allowance structure for Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) appointed by the DoP&T in CPSEs and other government organizations. It reiterates that officers appointed at Joint Secretary, Director, and Deputy Secretary levels are entitled to pay at Level-14, Level-13, and Level-12 of the 7th CPC pay matrix respectively. The circular explicitly states that these officers are not entitled to any Performance Related Pay (PRP). Pay fixation for these officers will continue to be governed by existing DoP&T guidelines. This order applies to all Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.
