The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Gaurav Govil, IRSSE (1996), as the Combined Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the Military Engineer Services (MES) and Border Roads Organization (BRO). The appointment is for an initial tenure of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders. The officer is to be relieved by the Ministry of Railways to take up this new assignment.
