The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of the additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at V. O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, Thoothukudi. This charge is held by Shri S. Murali Krishnan, who is the CVO of Chennai Port Authority. The extension is granted for a period of six months beyond October 15, 2024, up to April 15, 2025.
