The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Ms. Anugraha P, IAS (MP:2011) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Chennai Port Authority. She will be appointed on a lateral shift basis from a CSS post to a Non-CSS post. The tenure of the appointment is until 03.09.2029, effective from the date of assumption of charge. This appointment will take effect after the current incumbent's tenure ends on 15.04.2026. The Department of Pharmaceuticals has been requested to relieve the officer immediately.
