Extension of Central Deputation Tenure for Shri Abhimanyu Kumar, IAS as Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs & Cooperation

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of the Central deputation tenure of Shri Abhimanyu Kumar, IAS (RJ:2011). He will continue to serve as Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs & Cooperation in the Ministry of Cooperation. The extension is granted for a period of two years beyond January 16, 2027, up to January 16, 2029. This tenure is subject to the maximum limit of 7 years outside the cadre in a single stint or on a co-terminus basis with the Minister. The order remains effective until further notice or until he ceases to function in the role, whichever occurs earliest.
