The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri P. Shankar, a retired Senior PPS of the CSSS cadre, as Private Secretary to the Member of NITI Aayog, Dr. M. Srinivas. The appointment is on a contract basis at the level of Under Secretary for a period of one year. This engagement is effective from the date of assumption of charge and is co-terminus with the tenure of the Member, NITI Aayog. The appointment was made in relaxation of existing guidelines.
