The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has issued a circular regarding the enhancement of Dearness Relief (DR) for Central Government pensioners and family pensioners. The DR rate has been increased from 58% to 60% of the basic pension, effective from January 1, 2026. Pension disbursing banks and the Accountant General are instructed to process payments based on these revised rates.
